Position Overview

Responsible for cleaning and servicing assigned areas. Promote positive image of the hotel to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly and should also able to address guests needs and resolve problems.

The Role

  1. Deliver reliable, genuinely caring and timely service.
  2. Follow the assignment from Housekeeping Supervisor and complete in efficient and effective manner.
  3. Perform cleaning task in assigned area following standard and ensure all guest supplies are replenished.
  4. Report all found defects and maintenances jobs immediately.
  5. Proactively greet, interact, and assist guests in a professional manner.
  6. Proactively seek to provide refined luxury service ensuring guest satisfaction.
  7. Clean and maintain guest corridors, public areas, service areas, pantries and stores to be neat and tidy at all time.
  8. Performs seasonal or special event project work as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
  9. Maintain a positive and harmonious relationship with the team and other departments.
  10. Follow lost and found procedure.
  11. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are kept clean and professional in accordance to hotel grooming standards.
  12. Attend training requirement and be proactive to develop skills.
  13. Practice safe working habits, including bending and lifting appropriately to avoid injury, reporting hazards, appropriate use of cleaning chemicals and working to minimize tripping hazards. Adopt a "See Something, Say Something" mentality.
  14. Comply with hotel policies and regulations.

Talent Profile

  • General high school education certification / diploma in Hospitality Management.
  • Experiences in a similar position in luxury resort/hotel.
  • Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivator and independent.
  • Acute attention to details.
  • Understands and respects local cultural, able to adapt to changing environment.
  • Personable and pleasant to deal with.
  • Discreet, reliable, diplomatic.
  • Positive "can do" attitude and flexible approach.
  • Good verbal command of English.
